Enter... Playfighting Workshops!

hose of you who've had their very first session with me will know how I much I enjoy introducing new people to the delicious art of fetish wrestling.

Well, I'm now thrilled to announce that I will be offering this training more widely to the conscious kink scene in London!

It all started when I saw someone post about workshops in playfighting they were running at festivals and I was coloured intrigued. I reached out to Roy at the beginning of the summer when I first saw them popping up - and he hadn't heard of the wrestling scene so we had a lovely supermarket picnic in Highbury and Islington to swap stories and experiences - where he asked me if I would maybe be interested in running skills workshops after he finished the summer festival circuit.

Well, obviously I said yes and I went to the first playfighting play party he runs with The Temple of Eros at the weekend (as those of you who keep an eye on twitter will have seen...)

I really do recommend

you check out all of Temple Of Eros's events (and not just because I'm now affiliated with them - it was genuinely a beautiful and feral event). They run conscious kink play spaces which aim to redefine kink as a sex positive, inclusive, open and embracing space for kinks and bodies of all shapes and sizes.

Fetish Wrestling really started in the mid 2000s (I joined a few years late) and I recall it was very much focussed on the sportier end of the fetish. Over the years it's diversified beautifully to include all sorts of sessions from the more brutal catfighting to soft sensual surrender experiences and mixing all sorts of kinks and practices into the fold.

I really like the term 'playfighting'. I think it allows the slightly less serious and more playful aspects of the kink to abound and maybe doesn't sound as intimidating as 'wrestling' might.

At the party I was really delighted to see so many women and people of other genders and it was run in such a delicious and inviting way I think we're about to see a lot more people enter the fun little niche we've created for ourselves!

There are parties happening in Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol and Brighton in October so if you're in the area I highly reccomend you go check them out and let me know how you find them on twitter.

If you want to join me (and give me some moral support - it's my first workshop guys!) then my first training workshop will be on 30th October in South London.

If we get enough people along there might be many more where that came from...

AND if you get in there quick, you can get the early bird pricing of £35 which is an absolute steal - so don't you go telling me I never do anything nice for you (she says as tightens her grip ahahah!).

See you on the mats.

💋💪
